Off Topic Rules
In addition to the off-topic forum rules, you are also expected to follow our General Rules & Guidelines.
The Miscellaneous, or Off-Topic, forum is where you can talk about non-related fandom things!
- Topics must have some sort of point/discussion going on
Basically, topics must encourage participation and discussion from other users.
For example, the following are some topics that are
NOT allowed to be posted in the miscellaneous or off-topic forum.
INAPPROPRIATE TOPICS-
Spam TopicsSpam= Short, pointless, annoying, messages
Posting a topic with only "Hi" on an emoticon will fall under this category
-
Non-Discussion TopicsThis is a topic that is created as a sort of "announcement" instead of actually encouraging discussion or conversation.
"Happy Birthday Bob" - creating a topic for someone's birthday, although is considered a kind gesture you can wish them a happy birthday via PM.
If everyone made a threat when someone had a birthday, our forum would have a lot of useless topics.
"Look how cute my pet mouse is" - creating a thread just to show just to show off something of yours that doesn't relate to the forum is also something we don't encourage as it doesn't encourage actual conversation from other users.
-
Sexually-Themed TopicsThere are plenty of websites that allow you to talk about your sex life. Since this forum is is GA(general audience) we cannot allow you to talk about that here.
-
Advertisement TopicsYou are not allowed to create a new topic in the miscellaneous or off-topic to advertise something(this could be your products, services, etc)
-
Gossip topics targeting one specific person or groupYou are not allowed to create a new topic to simply talk about another person in a negative light. It does not matter if they are a member of this forum or not. There are plenty of places where you can "rant" about people in your life, so you are more than welcome go there and do just that.
- Game topics must be approved by an Administrator
You must message an Aministrator to get your game topic approved. Because we do not want a lot of repetitive and pointless games being created.
- Game topics should have rules posted in the first post
This is pretty straightforward in regards to starting any game topics.
Should you be found abusing the Off-Topic, you will be denied access to it.
Of course, you can still use other sections of the forum, you will just not be allowed in the Off-Topic for an allotted amount of time or at all which would really be a shame.
